WWE star Nikki Bella teases wedding to John Cena: 'Brie's daughter Birdie will be a flower girl'

WWE star Nikki Bella is pushing forward with plans for her wedding to John Cena. Wrestling's top power couple were previously tight-lipped on details of their upcoming nuptials, but Nikki has finally revealed who she has chosen to be her flower girls.

Nikki, 33, got engaged to Cena, 40, in April when he got down on one knee and proposed with a five-carat engagement ring after the couple beat The Miz and Maryse in an inter-gender tag match at WrestleMania 33.

In an interview alongside her twin sister and Total Bellas co-star Brie Bella, Nikki confirmed she will have several flower girls and page boys, including her sibling's two-month-old daughter Birdie, who will likely be at least one by the time her aunt walks down the aisle.

Speaking to E! News, Nikki said: "Yes. John has three nieces, so we're going to have them as flower girls and then my brother's little girl Vivienne and then Birdie. We'll probably get Birdie a really special dress."

Brie added of her daughter's wedding outfit: "Yes, we have to. We have to make sure she says yes to the dress," referencing TLC's popular reality series. Former professional wrestler Brie gave birth to Birdie, her first child, in May, three years after tying the knot with WWE legend Daniel Bryan.

Earlier in July, Nikki announced she and Cena had settled on a date for the ceremony, rumoured to be late 2018, while confirming she had also found her wedding dress – which Brie gushed was "stunning".

Nikki added: "I said yes to the dress! You know, what's crazy is when I was at the spring fashion shows and I attended Marchesa and when I looked at that line, like she got me when they handed we a glass of Perrier-Jouet and a macaroon. I was like, 'OK, yes'.

"And then I saw this dress and I was like, 'That's Princess Grace Kelly.' Like that is what I want so bad. And so all the girls warned me, 'Just so you know, like even though you love it sometimes when you try something on it doesn't work.' I put it on and I was like this is the one."

The wedding update comes after 16-time WWE champ Cena admitted he was still not ready to have children with Nikki as starting a family is his "biggest fear".
