Xbox One backward compatibility: First list of confirmed Xbox 360 titles set for release
Xbox 360 backward compatibility for Xbox One will be released as part of the new Xbox One Experience on 12 November. With this confirmed, the list of Xbox 360 games that would be added to the backward compatibility list has surfaced and gamers are expecting these titles to make the list.
However, Microsoft will release the list of Xbox 360 backward compatible titles in waves, by filtering games, and the initial list of confirmed games will be released on 9 November. However, Redmond has desisted from revealing the exact initial Xbox 360 backward compatible titles for Xbox One gamers.
According to Mike Ybarra, a Microsoft partner and passionate gamer, Xbox One owners can expect as many as 100 Xbox 360 backward compatible titles to be released on 11 November. The full list of the games will be released on 12 November.
At this point in time, the popular Call of Duty franchise is yet to be officially included in the list of Xbox 360 backward compatible games for Xbox One. Other probables include:
