Xiaomi rumoured to launch next-gen Redmi Note 2 Pro along with Mi 5
Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi, which is rumoured to launch the next-gen Mi 5 smartphone soon, could have another device ready for launch. Earlier, there were rumours about Xiaomi coming out with the Mi Note 2 in November. Now a new report hints at the imminent launch of Redmi Note 2 Pro.
According to a MobiPicker report, that quotes images leaked by China-based web portal Mobile-Dad (translated), the Redmi Note 2 Pro will feature fingerprint sensors along with incorporating a metallic outer frame. The newly- leaked images clearly show a smartphone, believed by MobiPicker to be the Redmi Note 2 Pro, and the smartphone appears to feature a metallic outer frame.
Key technical specs of the purported Redmi Note 2 Pro are said to be identical to those of the existing Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. Rumours also hint at a December launch time-frame for the Redmi Note 2 Pro; the pricing of the handset is yet to emerge.
