Xperia C3 and T2 Ultra getting Android 5.1.1 firmware build 19.4.A.0.182

Sony had previously promised to make the latest Lollipop version available for Xperia C3 and T2 Ultra following its release for the Xperia Z3, Z2 and Z1 series. The Android dessert treatment has already begun seeding for C3 and T2 Ultra owners.

The build number the firmware brings is 19.4.A.0.182, which is currently live across a number of regions for the C3 D2533 and C3 Dual D2502 models, reports Xperiablog. If you own any of the C3 models, head over to Settings>> About Phones>>Software updates>> System updates to see if the new firmware is available for download.

The same build has been available for the T2 Ultra and its Dual SIM variant. The T2 Ultra LTE models such as D5303 and D5306 and T2 Ultra Dual model D5322 have reportedly received the update. Along with the new Android version, the T2 Ultra and C3 should get the new Lollipop goodies being enjoyed by the other Xperia Z series.

There is good news for those who are in search of FTF files to perform a manual update using the Sony flash tool. The download links are now live at XDA forum, thanks to the hard work of forum members.
