'You're the world's worst meth dealer!' Triple H tells X-Pac after ex-WWE star's arrest
The D-Generation X member was arrested at LAX Airport on 29 April.
Former WWE star Sean Waltman, better known by his ring names X-Pac and 1-2-3 Kid, believes he will be cleared of crystal meth possession charges. The D-Generation X member was flying to Gatwick Airport from LAX Airport on 29 April, but before his fight took off he was arrested for possession of crystal meth and marijuana.
X-Pac, in an interview with Ring Side News, said as he was about to board his flight he was held while federal police went through his bags. He said he showed the officers the marijuana he had under prescription, but one of the officers was hell bent on making an arrest. He added that the state police arrived but were reluctant to make an arrest, but federal officers wanted him arrested.
X-Pac said he overheard an officer saying "we have to make this look right" in another room.
X-Pac then joked about how him carrying $736 (£571) on him could have been a hint that he might be a drug dealer. He said Triple H texted him saying: "$736? You are the world's worst meth dealer."
X-Pac was scheduled to perform at the Extreme Measures event in Clapham, south-west London, on 30 April. He was released on a $35,000 (£27,086) bail bond and since then he has said that he has not been using drugs.
"I wasn't using anything. Even my closest friends, I understand if they doubt me. At least in the back of their minds. I get it," he had said on The Tomorrow Show with Keven Undergaro.
"A subsequent investigation revealed that he had methamphetamines, marijuana and had a warrant for his arrest for a DUI (driving under the influence)," a spokesman for Los Angeles Airport Police had told the Evening Standard.
