Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards wedding: Have the pop star couple married in secret?
They were rumoured to have been planning a Disneyland Paris wedding but now fresh reports claim pop couple Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards have already married in secret.
According to Heat magazine, the former One Direction singer fuelled the rumours when he was allegedly spotted wearing a ring on his wedding finger at the 2015 Asian Awards on 17 April.
The same night that the 22-year-old attended the awards ceremony, Heat magazine reportedly claim Cara Swan, best friend of Little Mix singer Edwards, wrote on Facebook: "Couldn't have been more proud of my number one girl Perrie Edwards today.
"Congratulations and thank you for blessing me with my role today...long long endless love for you. P.S You're actually my wife and married to meeeee."
On 12 April, Swan is also said to have wished Malik and his former 1D bandmates Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson "a good few days on the stag!" followed by a photo of Horan with shot glasses and the caption: "Tequila anyone?!
Swan reportedly tagged Malik, Payne and Tomlinson in the image. There is also speculation that Edwards, 21, had a hen party earlier in April after Swan commented on Facebook: "Time for your surprise Perrie Edwards," to which the pop star allegedly replied: "I'm freaking out!"
Then, on 17 April, Swan reportedly posted: "Couldn't have been more proud of my number one girl Perrie Edwards today... congratulations and thanks you for blessing me with my role today [ring emoji] long long endless love for you. P.S You're actually my wife and married to meeeee."
Heat allegedly say that this was 'liked' by Malik, Horan and Edwards.
However, according to J-14.com, it is unlikely the couple have gotten married yet as Malik's mother Trisha Malik said at the Asian Awards that she is looking forward to the young couple's nuptials.
Yahoo, who were at the awards, tweeted:
The loved-up couple got engaged in August 2013 but have never revealed their wedding plans to the press.
