12-year-old among four boys to appear in court over murder of man outside Ashton McDonald's
Boys are accused of murdering father-of-four Bradley Moore outside fast food restaurant.
A 12-year-old boy is among four people who have been charged with the murder of a father-of-four who was beaten to death outside a McDonald's in Greater Manchester.
The victim, named locally as Bradley Moore, died after being attacked outside the branch of the fast food chain in Ashton-Under-Lyne on the evening on 27 July. He was taken to a hospital but died from his injuries on the early hours of 28 July.
Four boys, aged 12, 16, 16 and 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with murder and will appear at Oldham Magistrates Court on 1 August to face the charges.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Four teenagers have been charged with murder after the death of a man in Ashton-under-Lyne.
"This is in relation to police being called to Warrington Street in Ashton town centre shortly before 10:50pm on Wednesday 27 July 2016 to reports of an assault.
"Officers attended and discovered an injured man in his 40s who was taken to hospital where he sadly died in the early hours of Thursday 28 July 2016."
