2013 FIFA Club World Cup Final, Raja Casablanca v Bayern Munich: Where to Watch Live, Preview and Team News
Raja Casablanca take on Bayern Munich in the final of the 2013 FIFA Club World Cup at Stade de Marrakech on Saturday.
Where to Watch Live
Kick-off is set for 7:30pm GMT/1:30pm CST. Live updates on the game will be available on FIFA's official website. No live coverage will be broadcast in the UK while Fox Sports 2 and Fox Soccer 2Go will provide live coverage in the US.
Overview
The Moroccan side made it to the final after a 3-1 win over the 2013 Copa Libertadores winners Atletico Mineiro in the semi-finals. Mouhssine Iajour opened the scoring for Raja before former Barcelona star Ronaldinho equalised for the Brazilian outfit.
However, two goals from Mouhssine Moutouali and Vianney Mabide in the final 10 minutes of the game gave Raja a place in the final of the Club World Cup against UEFA Champions League winners Bayern.
Raja beat Auckland City and Monterrey in the early rounds in the competition and will be looking to provide an upset on Saturday to become the first African side to win the Club World Cup.
Meanwhile, the Champions League winners made it to the final after a 3-0 win over Guangzhou Evergrande in the semi-finals. Bayern won the UEFA Super Cup earlier this year, defeating Chelsea, and Pep Guardiola will want his second Club World Cup trophy after achieving success in the competition with his former club Barcelona.
What They Say
Mouhssine Iajour: "The dream is far from over yet and we'll be giving it all we have against Bayern, right up to the final whistle. We never give up. This team has got so much mental strength to draw on."
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge: "Everyone expected Atletico Mineiro to be in the final. No-one, not even here in Morocco, had bargained on Casablanca reaching the final. It's a surprise, also for us. We must not be overbearing and arrogant, just because they are not as well known in the football world."
