Abhishek Bachchan Turns 36, Bollywood Showers Wishes
Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan celebrated his 36<sup>th birthday on Sunday. The star of films like the "Dhoom" series, "Delhi-6", "Guru" and "Kuch Naa Kaho" received a huge outpouring of birthday wishes, from friends and fans, through his microblogging page on Twitter.
"Happy birthday Valorie ... have a lovely year and many years ahead.." tweeted Abhishek's father, the Hindi film industry veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan.
Actress Sonam Kapoor also wished Abhishek, tweeting he was "by far the nicest coolest person" she knows.
"Many happy returns of the day to @juniorbachchan ! Hope I'm not late to wish him god bless my dear friend!" tweeted injured Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh.
Meanwhile, actors Tushar Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh; film directors Goldie Behl and Rohan Sippy; and Aishwarya Rajinikanth (the daughter of South Indian film legend Rajinikanth) all wished the actor via Twitter.
The son of star couple, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek started his film career with "Refugee" in 2000, opposite Kareena Kapoor. He has since a host of critically and publicly acclaimed films to his credit, cementing his position as one of Bollywood's leading men... not unlike the status his father once enjoyed.
Abhishek has won several awards, for roles in films like "Yuva", "Bunty Aur Bubli", "Sarkar" and "Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna".
He married former Miss World and fellow actor Aishwarya Rai (they met during the making of "Guru" in 2006) on April 20, 2007 and recently became a father himself - to an adorable baby girl.
Abhishek is Bachchan is currently shooting for "Bol Bachchan".
