Accenture's Jill Huntley: Youth Entrepreneurship Radically Changes Disadvantaged Young People's Lives
As the world wonders how to solve its growing youth unemployment problem, one of the solutions may be young entrepreneurs.
IBTimes UK went to the Youth Business International (YBI) global 2013 Young Entrepreneur Awards, where budding Indian mogul Sharad Tandale, 32, was crowned victor for his engineering start-up.
Tandale overcame community barriers and family opposition to create Innovation Engineers & Contractors - which now employs 175 people.
At the event, IBTimes UK caught up with Jill Huntley, global director for corporate citizenship at Accenture, which runs a Skills to Succeed programme to encourage youth entrepreneurship.
