Kate Winslet is expecting her first child with third husband Ned Rocknroll

Hollywood actress Kate Winslet has announced she is pregnant with her third child. It will be the Titanic star's first child with new husband, Ned Rocknroll.

"I can confirm Kate Winslet is pregnant and she and Ned Rocknroll are thrilled," said a publicist. "The baby is due at the end of the year."

A representative for the Oscar-winning actress said the couple were delighted.

Winslet is already mother to daughter Mia from her first marriage to Jim Threapleton and son Joe from her second marriage to Sam Mendes.

Winslet and Rocknroll tied the knot in a secret ceremony in December after they began dating in autumn 2011. Rocknroll, born Ned Abel Smith, is the nephew of Virgin boss Richard Branson.

Winslet has previously discussed plans to add to her family.

"I'm hoping to have more kids," she said. "I don't know whether one or two. Oh, God, I would love to have more."
