Adam Levine Crowned People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive
Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has been named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive.
The Grammy Award-winning rock star, who is also a coach on the American version of The Voice, dethroned actor Channing Tatum, who took the crown in 2012.
The 34-year-old singer-songwriter admitted that he was surprised by the announcement.
"As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table," the singer tells People. "I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool."
Earlier this year, the 34-year-old singer-songwriter made his big screen debut alongside Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo in Can A Song Save Your Life? The movie premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
"This is just a really interesting time where everything seems to be heading in a certain direction," he said. "And I'm not taking any of it for granted."
Levine, who is engaged to Victoria's Secrets model Behati Prinsloo, joins an impressive list of hunks including, Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds, and Matthew McConaughey who have previously won the prestigious accolade.
