Did Adele and Simon Konecki Get Married in Secret?

Award-winning singer Adele has reportedly married her fiancé, Simon Konecki, in secret.

A month before she is expected to give birth, the 24-year-old singer is said to have tied the knot with businessman Konecki in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family.

Reports that the couple, who only began dating last year, had exchanged vows began circulating after Life & Style magazine printed pictures of Adele wearing a gold band on her wedding finger.

A source close to the star told the magazine: "Adele and Simon managed to keep the baby news a secret for so long that there are rumours they've already gotten married too.

"She's an old-fashioned girl and can't wait to be part of a family unit. She just wants to focus on the baby and the man she loves."

Whilst speculation continues to mount, an insider, who apparently attended the nuptials, appears to have confirmed the news to the Daily Mail.

The source told the paper: "They did get married, and I was present. It was a fabulous occasion. Adele was dressed in classic attire and Simon looked very smart and joyous."

Unlike many celebrities, the London-born star has been able to keep her private life out of the limelight, despite her global fame.

She successfully hid the news of her pregnancy and only announced in June that she was expecting.

Writing on her website she said: "I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together.

"I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."
