Agent Provocateur (AP) has launched its new spring/summer 2012 collection with a series of sexy shots of French actress Mylene Jampanoï.

Jampanoï, 31, who is half Chinese, was chosen to show off some of the high-end British lingerie brand's stunning undergarments because, said creative director Sarah Shotton: "After several successful campaigns featuring powerful femme fatales in high-octane bold imagery, I decided I wanted to take a softer approach for spring/summer 2012.

"I am a huge fan of the soft-focus era, the glowing scenes from the gently erotic films such as Emmanuelle and The Story of O and my collection of vintage Playboy magazine made me want to reintroduce the sensuality and flirtation of the 1970s into our campaigns.

Jampanoï was chosen because of her feline sensuality and pin-up figure, said Shotton.

Jampanoï began her acting career in French television and appeared in her first film in 2004. She has gone on to play beside the French actors Daniel Auteuil and Gerard Depardieu and recently appeared in Clint Eastwood's film Hereafter.
