No More 'Dancing' for Alex Jones and Holly Valance
"Strictly Come Dancing" contestants Alex Jones and Holly Valance were booted out in the semi-final result show on Sunday.
The exit of Jones and Valance sets up a final danceoff between Australian actor Jason Donovan, McFly drummer Harry Judd and "Waterloo Road" star Chelsee Healey in Blackpool next week, according to the Sun.
On the show, Jason and Chelsee dazzled the stage with their performance, scoring first perfect 40 of the series. Rival Harry also performed well and scored 39 for both of his performances, reports the Daily Mail.
Jones said she had a "brilliant" time on the show, but was confused occasionally about her left and right while dancing.
"I've had an incredible time, and when I'm old and grey I'll look back at these three months and I'll think 'that was a brilliant time'," she was quoted by the Sun as saying.
But Daily Mail reports that Jones, who is the anchor of the BBC's "The One Show," blamed her BBC commitments for her dismissal from the show.
Valance also took the bad news with ease, and told The Sun, "I'm just proud that we've been part of the most successful Strictly."
"The British public has been incredible, this is much further than we ever thought we could ever imagine," she added.
