Andy Murray is going to come head-to-head with Tsonga, who is one of the in-form players of this tournament. The Scot will have to be in top form to beat the Frenchman. Murray comes into the fourth round after a hard fought four-set victory over Russian Andrey Kuznetsov and will hope to step up a gear. If he clears this hurdle, the 8<sup>th seed will most likely come up against World No 1 Novak Djokovic in the quarter finals.
Meanwhile, Tsonga will come into this match aiming to make it past the fourth round in a Grand Salm for the first time this year. The Frenchman beat Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta 6-4,6-4,6-4 to make it to the fourth round. The number 9 seed, who is coming into this tournament following his victory in the Toronto Masters event, will be hoping to get the better of Murray for a second successive time.
The Frenchman also beat Roger Federer, Grigor Dimitrov and Djokovic on the way to the title in Canada. The Scotsman will be vary of the Frenchman ahead of their fourth round showdown at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
