Angelina Jolie showering her children with gifts and affection amid Brad Pitt split
The former couple share six children – Maddox 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
Angelina Jolie is reportedly trying her best to uplift her children from the unhappy state they are in following her split from Brad Pitt. Apparently, the Original Sin actress has been showering her children with gifts and affection.
According to HollywoodLife, the 41-year-old actress is doing everything to keep her children happy since their parents split.
"The kids are so depressed and Angelina is scrambling to do anything and everything to cheer them up," a source told the gossip site.
"Her first tactic was showing them as much love as possible — more hugs, more compliments, more affection, letting them sleep in her bed and stay up late, but that was not getting her anywhere."
"Now she's resorting to gifts. Anything they want, they get it. Zahara, 11, loves to shop so Angie had her go to her favorite online stores and get whatever she wanted," the source said.
"The twins (Knox and Vivienne, both 8) got a toy shopping spree. The boys (Maddox, 15, and Pax, 12) get gadgets, and electronics, and Shiloh, 10, wants a puppy! Angie is still holding out on that one!"
Previously, a report from the gossip site claimed that the six children - Maddox 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8 – were feeling "homesick" and want to move back to their home in Los Feliz, which Jolie shared with the Allied star.
"It's been weeks since the kids moved out of their home and they are getting homesick. The children are sad, miss the huge house they grew up in, and have been complaining to Angelina that they want to go home. The older children are not happy with the situation while the younger kids are having trouble understanding why they can't just go home," a source had said.
"The Los Feliz home has been where the kids have spent most of their time growing up," the source added. Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on 19 September, citing irreconcilable differences.
