Are Russell Crowe and Terri Irwin getting married? Pair linked romantically amid disputing claims

Russell Crowe and Terri Irwin have been linked romantically, with a magazine report claiming that the pair might even be talking marriage. The gossip report described them as long-time friends before adding that speculations surrounding the duo have been going around from a long time.

Sharing further details about the alleged romance, Australian outlet New Idea has claimed that the Oscar-winning actor and Irwin are planning to go public with their romance.

"Terri is so nervous about going public with her romance with Russ, but she doesn't want to hide it any longer," a source close to the widow of naturalist Steve Irwin was quoted as saying.

"Obviously Russ has been through a lot of pain because of how much he loved Danielle [Spencer]and Terri relates to that because she's struggled to find anyone who's matched up to Steve," the report further mentioned (via Daily Mail) adding, "This is a big reason they're so compatible - they're on the same wavelength about never expecting to find true love again".

In the wake of these reignited romance rumours between Crowe and Irwin, the magazine went on to add that the 52-year-old actor and the owner of Australian Zoo are allegedly planning a "small and intimate" ceremony in late 2018.

However, a Daily Mail report quoted a representative of the Australian Zoo, who reportedly laughed off the rumours saying, "All of these reports are completely false. Terri and Russell are not dating and are certainly not planning a wedding."

Before being linked with the Australian star, Crowe was married to actress Danielle Spencer. The couple split in 2012.
