Ariana Grande and Big Sean dating: Nickelodeon star is 'hoping for a ring this Christmas'

Nickelodeon star Ariana Grande and her boyfriend Big Sean are reportedly planning to get engaged before the New Year.

According to Life & Style, the Problems singer and the 26-year-old rapper "have been talking marriage recently."

"She [Ariana] is hoping for a ring this Christmas," the source added. "She knows they're young, but she is head over heels in love with him. It's very serious."

Rumours that Grande and Big Sean are dating have been circulating since they collaborated for the single Best Mistake.

Later, the two were pictured holding hands backstage at the 27th annual MTV Video Music Awards, seemingly confirming their relationship.

Big Sean, who previously dated Naya Rivera, had announced that they were engaged last October - just six months after going public with their romance. However, the two separated in April.

"Sean is completely smitten with her and adores her," the insider went on. "He's always telling her how happy he is he didn't end up marrying his ex, Naya Rivera, because Ariana is his true love."

Meanwhile, Grande, who previously dated Australian star Jai Brooks and The Wanted's band member Nathan Sykes, had opened up about her bond with Big Sean.

"I love working with him, obviously. We've done many songs together... we even have a few that y'all haven't heard yet, so yeah, I love making music with him. He's very talented," she told Extra's Mario Lopez.

Meanwhile, she posted an image of the two on Instagram.

"Happiest," she captioned the image.
