The official synopsis of the episode reads:
Malcolm is captured by Ra's al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) and taken to Nanda Parbat. Because of his love for Thea, Oliver considers saving Merlyn. Ray is obsessed with finishing his Atom suit so he can save the city but Felicity fears he is heading down the same path as Oliver and tries to pull him out of the lab.
According to a TVLine report, the upcoming episode will have a "crazy cliffhanger ending".
This Wednesday's episode is "designed to be this crazy cliffhanger and have all this amazing stuff in it," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg teased.
One of the highlights for Kreisberg in the upcoming episode is: "Seeing what [Thea]'s willing to do, and what Oliver's willing to do, for her soul."
Meanwhile, executive producer Marc Guggenheim spoke about Ray Palmer's Atom crusade.
Guggenheim said that he is excited for people to see the Atom suit in its full glory, especially as Ray takes his maiden flight in episode 15.
"This show is not Flash we don't traffic in these sort of visuals so it's a big deal for us to get this kind of character on the show, looking the way he does," he added.
The TVLine report also asked fans to guess which character would deliver this statement: "It's hard to remember a time when I was actually in love with you."
Going by the promo, it looks like Felicity might say this to Oliver. As Felicity is against Oliver's decision of going to Nanda Parbat to rescue Malcolm Merlyn.
The report also claims, "The episode might break the Internet, twice."
Will Oliver beat Ra's al Ghul to save Malcolm? We'll have to wait and watch.
