Batman actor Adam West to appear on Big Bang Theory in its 200th episode
Actor Adam West, made famous by his role as the dark knight in the 1960s The Adventures Of Batman TV series will make a special cameo in the 200<sup>th episode of the Big Bang Theory. West will play himself on the sitcom.
A couple of familiar guests will also revisit for the milestone episode of the show, which will air on 25 February. According to an announcement by CBS, the episode will feature Christine Baranski as Leonard's mother, Dr Beverly Hofstadter; Sara Gilbert as Leslie Winkle; John Ross Bowie as Barry Kripke, and Sheldon's frenemy Wil Wheaton, as himself.
While most of the details regarding the episode have been kept under wraps, Kunal Nayyar teased fans with a photo of the script for the show.
In addition, the show's co-creator Chuck Lorre will be inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame on 18 April for his contribution to television. Along with the Big Bang Theory, Lorre has worked on hit shows like Mom, Mike & Molly and Two And A Half Men.
"An artist in the prime of his career, Chuck Lorre is a legendary television writer and producer," said NAB executive vice president of television Marcellus Alexander. "His biting wit and memorable characters have become a part of our culture and defined an era of scripted comedies for Warner Bros. Television and CBS – comedies that remind us, on a weekly basis, of the scale and power of broadcast television."
