Batman v Superman: The Flash will appear alongside other Justice League heroes confirms director
It is pretty much confirmed that fans will get to see the complete Justice League team assemble in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It is already known that apart from the Bat and Supes, Justice League members Wonder Woman, Cyborg and Aquaman will cameo in the film.
But it was uncertain whether The Flash will also be seen in the movie. Well, in his recent interview, director Zack Synder indirectly confirmed that fans would see all the characters from the DC superhero team.
"I love Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman, but having Flash and Aquaman and Cyborg and to see them all standing together, it's a pretty dorky and cool experience for me," Synder told USA Today.
"Basically every one of those characters has a logo that you would recognize without them standing there, and that's a hard thing to achieve in this pop-culture world. We have history to draw on, but we also have these new frontiers to forge."
One name missing from Snyder's statement is of course the Green Lantern, who is also a core member of the Justice League. There has been no official update as yet about the character's casting or role in the film. Maybe the makers are keeping Green Lantern or the Green Lantern Corps as the surprise element in the film.
The director/producer later reassured that Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad are only "the cornerstone of the beginning" of the DC Cinematic Universe.
