Beyonce rocks the Beyhive with first photos of twins Sir Carter and Rumi
The singer shared the images on Instagram to celebrate one month since they were born.
Beyonce treated her fans to the first photo of her twins, a month after they were born in June.
She also confirmed the names of the new additions to the family, weeks after filing trademark documents with the US Patent and Trademark Office for the monikers, to use for future branding of fragrances, bags, bottles and even cosmetics.
"Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today," the Lemonade singer captioned the image on her Instagram account.
The portrait, done in a style similar to that of her pregnancy shoots, shows the 35-year-old posing with her babies, draped in a pink floral cloak of sorts and a matching blue veil. She is seen standing in front of an elaborate floral arch with the blue sea making up the rest of the background.
It echoes the portrait she shared in February, announcing to the world that she was pregnant with twins.
"We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes," she wrote at the time.
Along with husband Jay-Z and 5-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, Beyonce welcomed the birth of Rumi and Sir Carter to much media attention on 13 June. Since then fans have been waiting expectantly for the first photos of the newborns and were ecstatic to finally see them on Thursday.
