Blac Chyna breaks silence on Rob Kardashian revenge porn: 'I felt betrayed'
Model sits down with lawyer for interview with GMA about her messy split from Kardashian.
Blac Chyna is set to open up about the revenge porn drama involving her ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian in a new interview.
The model, real name Angela Renee White, has sat down with her lawyer Lisa Bloom for a TV interview with Good Morning America to discuss Kardashian's 5 July social media meltdown in which he posted several naked photos of his former fiancee while accusing her of cheating.
In extracts from the interview, which is set to air on 10 July, Blac Chyna, 29, says of the ordeal according to Page Six: "I was devastated, of course. I'm like, how could somebody, like, post these pictures of me? And I'm like, 'Wow, okay'. This is a person that I trusted. I confided. I felt comfortable, you know, with even sending these pictures and even talking to him about certain things, you know. I just felt... betrayed."
Blac Chyna and Kardashian, 30, began dating in January 2016 and were engaged three months later. They welcomed their daughter, Dream, in November 2016.
Their relationship was shrouded in controversy as Blac Chyna was previously engaged to rapper Tyga, the ex-boyfriend of Kardashian's younger sister Kylie Jenner. Blac Chyna also has a son, King Cairo, with Tyga.
Explaining what had attracted her to Kardashian at the start of their relationship, Blac Chyna said: "First, what had first initially attracted me to Rob, he was very sweet. Very caring. I felt as though he just really needed, you know, help without somebody pointing their finger. Because I know how that could be.
"And I felt like I was that friend that never, like, asked questions or judged him. And I was just always there for him. And that's what kinda, like, attracted me. We just had good times together. And what was the breaking point was when I actually let my guard down."
In the midst of his tirade, Kardashian posted a video which Blac Chyna had sent to him of herself kissing another man. Explaining why she shared the footage with her ex-fiance, the model said: "You know, I've been broken up with Rob since December, and it's like if somebody keeps poking at you and poking at you and poking at you and keep poking at you, you're eventually going to pop. And so I was just like maybe if I send this video to him, then he'll just leave me alone."
It appears Blac Chyna is gearing up to take legal action against Kardashian in regards to the revenge porn, with her lawyer Bloom announcing their plans to seek a domestic restraining order against the Arthur George sock designer.
In a statement, Bloom said: "Mr Kardashian, you are now on notice: revenge porn is illegal. Cyberbullying your ex is harassment. Chyna ended your relationship months ago and she has the right to live as she chooses, work as she chooses, dress as she chooses, and be intimate with who she chooses.
"Chyna and I both believe that this is an important women's rights issue, as too many women and girls have been slut-shamed by exes. It stops now. Your attempts to shame and control her are hereby rejected. Her body, her choice. Her life, her choice. Back off."
