Bradley Cooper Named People’s 2011 Sexiest Man Alive

Bradley Cooper overcame stiff competition from a host of celebrity hunks to be crowned People Magazine's 2011 Sexiest Man Alive.

He will grace the cover of the next edition of the popular US magazine after bagging the honour over stars including Captain America star Chris Evan, Idris Elba and Twilight's Robert Pattinson.

The Hangover star, famous for his piercing blue eyes, follows in the footsteps of previous winners which have included Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp and George Clooney and most recently Ryan Reynolds who won the coveted prize in 2010.

After securing the top spot of the 123 strong list of hot guys, the 36-year-old actor told the People: 'I think it's really cool that a guy who doesn't look like a model can have this [title]. ... I think I'm a decent-looking guy. Sometimes I can look great, and other times I look horrifying.'
