Britney Spears is thrilled as Brad Pitt is 'single' now

Britney Spears is very happy that Brad Pitt is now single following his split from Angelina Jolie on 19 September. The Toxic singer in the past had revealed that her first celebrity crush was the Allied actor.

During a game of Question Roulette on the Australian TODAY show when the 34-year-old singer was asked as to which celebrity she had a crush on, she said it was the 52-year-old Pitt.

"My first celebrity crush was Brad Pitt," Spears said with a big smile. (Via Us Weekly) "He's single now!"

The songstress has been very candid about her affection for the Fight Club actor since the late nineties when she was just starting her career. In 2003, Spears was left embarrassed when it was revealed that a photo she took with Pitt sat on her nightstand.

"We shouldn't share that. I'm embarrassed," then-21-year-old Spears said in an interview with Diane Sawyer. "That's my little thing!"

In 2005, after Pitt and Jennifer Aniston had split, Spears on her reality show titled Britney and Kevin: Chaotic gushed about the actor, who later moved on with the Original Sin actress. Pitt and Jolie married after meeting on the sets of their 2005 film Mr & Mrs Smith.

"We found out that Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt broke up. So I have a feeling that he's thinking about me. ... Just playing," she told the camera, as her now-ex-husband Kevin Federline sat beside her and listened. "He probably wouldn't even look my way. I don't care, 'cause we can dream. We can dream!"
