Bruce Jenner is allegedly not only getting a sex change operation, he is also planning to change his name.

Rumours of the former Olympic star's desire to become a woman have been making the headlines lately, following pictures of him leaving the Beverly Hills Surgical Center for a "laryngeal shave," a procedure to reduce the appearance of the Adam's Apple.

The National Enquirer now claims he wants to change his name to Brigitte, after screen siren Brigitte Bardot.

"There's going to be no more K's in my life. I'm fed up with the Kardashians!" Jenner reportedly told a friend.

"He's also determined that the name he chooses has to start with a letter that comes well before 'K,'" an insider was quoted by Showbizspy. "It makes him feel good to be ahead of the Kardashians in the alphabet."

The source even claims Jenner originally wanted to change his name to Bruscilla, but when "he thought about it some more, he decided it didn't work for him.

"He said, 'It doesn't roll off the tongue very well. Bruscilla sounds like some kind of disease.'"

"He loves 'Brigitte' not only be­cause it's such a beautiful name, but it makes him think of Brigitte Bardot, who was a total bombshell," another source said.

"She also starred in [the 1956 mov­ie] 'And God Created Woman' -- and Bruce thinks it's just perfect since he's in the process of becoming a woman."

In October, Kris and Bruce Jenner announced they were separating after 22 years of marriage and Star magazine claimed they split because of his sexuality.

"Bruce has a feminine side. He likes growing his hair out, likes getting manicures and pedicures and won't leave his house without his diamond earrings. And he's obsessed with plucking his eyebrows" a source told the publication at the time.
