Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 limited edition PS4 bundle revealed by Sony

Sony has revealed a limited edition Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 PlayStation 4 console, which will launch alongside the game on 6 November. The black console with orange detailing packs a 1TB hard drive, and comes with a grey and orange DualShock 4 controller.

"The system features the Call of Duty: Black Ops III ember orange logo on a Jet Black chassis, complete with coloured power and eject buttons, as well as three emblems on the front, each representing a game mode – the SOG Skull signifies campaign, the Winslow Accord faction logo is pulled straight from the game's fiction, representing one of the factions you play in multiplayer, and 'the mark' denotes zombies. The DualShock 4 included has a smooth grey and orange colour scheme, along with the roman numeral 'III' logo on the right grip," reads the announcement on the PlayStation Blog.

Earlier this year at the E3 trade show in Los Angeles, Sony revealed a partnership with Activision at their press conference that will bring DLC to the PS4 before it arrives on Xbox One. Microsoft's console had previously been the "home" of Call of Duty for years but Sony's significant market share has shifted corporate allegiances.

The bundle also includes access to Nuk3town, a variation of the ever-popular multiplayer map Nuketown, which has been a fan-favourite in the series since it was introduced in Treyarch's first Black Ops five years ago. With their Black Ops series, Treyarch has created the most popular branch of Call of Duty aside from the Modern Warfare games that made the series so huge on consoles.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released on 6 November on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
