The Cannes Film Festival 2013 continues to draw glamorous stars to a glittering red carpet, even as the 66th annual edition counts down its final hours. The weather on the famous French Riviera wasn't always cooperative but that didn't stop Hollywood's finest from flaunting the latest in haute couture and accessories.
American actress Jessica Biel was one of the biggest attractions. The 31-year-old came to support husband Justin Timberlake and his latest film, Inside Llewyn Davis. The 7th Heaven star wore a mid-length Marchesa dress with a feathered underskirt and swirling applique detailing. She also wore a stunning serpentine necklace from Bvlgari.
Cannes 2013 has had a strong Bollywood/Indian contingent. The festival celebrates the 100th anniversary of Indian cinema. Actress Sonam Kapoor was on the carpet during opening day and while there was some talk about her traditional costume, all the attention was on a giant-sized nose ring.
Snake detailing was in evidence on a few occasions, with Basic Instinct and Basic Instinct 2 star Sharon Stone displaying a golden design on the back of her white Roberto Cavalli and French fashion designer and former model Ines de la Fressange wearing a bracelet in the form of a snake.
Celebrities also strutted with trendy shoes, stilettoes, peep-toes on their feet. Christian Louboutin continues to be the footwear of choice for haute couture and the man himself was present, with stylish velvet shoes and a dash of gold.
Israeli socialite and television actress Hofit Galan showed off a trend wrist cuff with black stones and Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi an oversized gold-plated flower ring.
Book clutches were also trendy with a number of actresses, including Frenchwomen Berenice Bejo and Arielle Dombasle.
