Chelsea and Manchester United target Arda Turan 'will reveal his new club in next four days'
The agent of Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan, Ahmet Bulut, has said his client will reveal his new club before the end of the week, amid speculation linking him with Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
The Turkey international has decided to leave Diego Simeone's side after four successful seasons at the Vicente Calderon.
Bulut revealed his client's intentions last week to AS, saying Turan was in talks with three English clubs regarding a summer move, as well as fielding offers from AC Milan and PSG.
"He is planning on leaving Spain this summer. He would like to play in the Premier League. This is the path he would like to see his career take. His departure from Atletico won't be easy due to his €41m buyout clause. I'm in discussion with three clubs but I can't reveal their names. They are three of the best clubs in England and indeed in Europe," Bulut said.
AS later claimed that Manchester United and Chelsea were closely monitoring the situation, but the player is more likely to make the move to Stamford Bridge.
If he joins Chelsea, the Turkish star will be reunited with former Atletico Madrid teammates Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois. The Spanish publication claimed Atletico Madrid's interest in Filipe Luis could help facilitate the move.
On Sunday Turan himself continued the speculations, tweeting: "The transfer rumours are not entirely correct.
"My agent is currently in touch with 3-4 clubs. I will update you all if a deal is made."
His agent has now warned Turan's suitors to act quickly as they are expected to close a deal with another club in the "next four days".
"Many things are being published about the transfer, but not everything that is said is true. We want to clarify that at this time there is a lot of pressure on the matter but we do not want to make a formal declaration about his destination before it has been signed. In the next four days Arda will decide the team he will play for next season," Bulut told Turkish TV channel NTVSpor.
"Our decision to leave Atlético Madrid has surprised them a lot. They did not want Arda to go and they were persistent but in the end they respected and accepted our decision. But of course nothing is 100% until it is signed. However we transmitted the message to them that we want to leave Atlético."
