Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran: Model's family dislike Rihanna's ex-boyfriend

Karrueche Tran's family is reportedly against her relationship with Chris Brown.

The Say Goodbye singer reportedly started dating Tran amidst his romance with Rihanna. The two briefly split in October 2012, when Brown admitted he was "in love with two people".

According to a report in Hollywood Life, the 26-year-old model's close ones are upset with the constant fights occurring between them.

"Karrueche understands her family's reasons for not liking Chris. She's tired of hearing them tell her how awful he's treated her and how she should leave him and be with someone else who they think will treat her better. Karrueche absolutely respects her family and loves them to death but she's not going to leave Chris and it's causing tension," a source told the website.

"She's hoping that Chris and Joyce Hawkins will be willing to sit down for a meal with some of her family and just hash their feelings out. She wants everything to be out in the open and address whatever issues the sides have," the insider added.

Brown and Tran had briefly split last month, after the Loyal singer accused her of cheating on him with rapper Drake.

However, the couple reunited and Brown shared a video of him and Tran in a passionate kiss during New Year's Eve on Instagram, but it has since been deleted.

Meanwhile, Tran wants to seriously work on their romantic relationship and take it to the next level.

"Karrueche wants to be with Chris for a very long time. And if everything goes well, she sees herself being Mrs. Brown. That's in the future. It's not happening tomorrow, but at least when it does, she wants both families to be mended and be one giant family," another source told the website.
