Chris Brown missing Rihanna or Karrueche Tran? Loyal singer hopes there was still an 'us'

American singer Chris Brown has posted a cryptic message on Twitter about his relationship status. The 26-year-old R&B singer hinted that he wishes to reconcile with his former love Rihanna.

"Don't know who you are anymore. I wish there was still an 'us'. I love who I love. Take nothing for granted," he tweeted.

Brown has always been scrutinised by media for his personal relationships. The Say Goodbye singer had infamously assaulted Barbadian singer/actress Rihanna in 2009. He hit her so forcefully that she had major bruises on her face, a split lip, and a bloody nose. However, the two of them still have a strong and complicated bond, despite their public breakup. Moreover, Brown had recently admitted that he is still in love with Rihanna.

After reports emerged about the No Air singer's love child, Karrueche Tran announced her split with Brown and declared that she did not want "baby drama". Recently, Tran shared a post on her social media account on how the Loyal singer was not loyal to her.

During an interview with ET, Brown gushed about the experience of fatherhood.

"Being a father is great. I've been able to set aside my own wants and necessities for my daughter," he said. "Everything is about her."

"Whether it's performing or writing songs, I always have her in mind just to keep me focused," Brown added.
