Ciara and Russell Wilson have tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in the presence of their closest friends and family. The couple were married in a fairytale wedding at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire on Wednesday (6 July).

Bridesmaids Jennifer Hudson, Lala Anthony, and Kelly Rowland were among the guests who watched the celebrity couple exchange vows . Ciara wore a custom made Roberto Cavalli lace fishtail gown a with sheer sleeves and a corseted top and a long train. She walked down the aisle carrying a bouquet of white flowers.

Seattle Seahawks player Wilson shared a photo from the couples big day on his Instagram page, with the caption: "We are The Wilsons!" The photo captured the newlyweds holding hands and smiling as they made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife.

Ciara posted the same photo to her own social media accounts. The singer was apparently nervous ahead of her big day, with a source telling E!: "Ciara has been getting ready all morning. She has all of her bridesmaids helping her. It was hard for her to sleep last night. She is so nervous but so excited for today."

The couple were spotted out for their rehearsal dinner in Liverpool on Tuesday night at Stanley's Bar and Grill at the Titanic Hotel.

The pair had been dating since last April after the singer split with rapper and former fiancee Future. Wilson proposed to Ciara this past March.
