WWE fans witnessed some exciting matches at Clash of Champions 2016 – Raw's first-ever brand exclusive pay-per-view (PPV) – aired live from Indianapolis, Indiana on 25 September. The main card of the event saw a fight between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship, while in another match Roman Reigns challenged Rusev for the WWE United States Championship.

Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins (WWE Universal Championship)
Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins went at each other from the start. During the fight Owens got distracted when Chris Jericho entered the ring and attacked him. However, Rollins carried out the suicide dive on Jericho and then on Owens, but there was no referee to make the count. Stephanie McMahon sent a new referee to the ring, but Owens out of nowhere powerbombed Rollins to retain his title.
Roman Reigns vs Rusev (WWE United States championship)
Roman Reigns has defeated Rusev to become the new United States champion. Reigns carried out the spear on Rusev to snatch the title away from the Bulgarian Brute.
Charlotte vs Bayley vs Sasha Banks (Women's championship)
Bayley got her title shot in a triple threat match after the WWE recognised that Sasha Banks and Bayley were actually double pinned during their No. 1 contender's match. However, both the challengers could not dethrone the champion Charlotte as she won the match via pinfall (on Bayley).
Chris Jericho vs Sami Zayn
The non-title match between Chris Jericho and Sami Zayn came to an end when Jericho carried out the Codebreaker for the win via pinfall.
Cesaro vs Sheamus (Best-of-7-series finale)
Cesaro and Sheamus got injured during their match. The seventh match of the series ended in a no contest.
TJ Perkins vs Brian Kendrick (Cruiserweight championship)
Champion TJ Perkins defeated Brian Kendrick when he carried out the kneebar and applied the hold until the latter tapped out.
The New Day vs Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson (Tag Team Championships)
The New Day has reached 400 days as WWE Tag Team champions with their latest win coming against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. The match came to an end when Kofi and Big E double teamed on Karl.
Nia Jax vs Alicia Fox (Kickoff show)
This was Nia Jax's first pay-per-view match, that too against Alicia Fox, whom she dominated earlier this month. Jax continued her dominance over Fox at WWE Clash of Champions.
