David Bowie and Iman's teenage daughter is all grown up in new photo: 'So like her Dad' says fan

Supermodel Iman shared a rare picture of her daughter Alexandria "Lexi" Zahra Jones, whom she shares with the late David Bowie, marking the teenager's 17th birthday on Instagram. And needless to say, Lexi appears all grown-up in the beautiful snap.

"The Queen of my heart Lexi Jones at 17 years old!" the Somalian fashion model wrote in the photo caption, followed up with "#selfportrait" and "#LexiLove".

The teenage daughter of late Grammy-winning singer Bowie showed off her side-profile and smouldering looks for the cameras in the sultry social media image. However, what caught the eyes were her vibrant red locks styled into loose curls and Lexi's shiny septum piercing.

Clearly, the celeb-kid has inherited her parents' good looks as she displayed a perfect pout in the picture posted by her mum. And eagle-eyed fans were quick to make a mention of it in the comments section.

"Wow, stunning genetics on display," one Instagram user wrote, while a second went on to gush about the similarities between the teenager and her famous father, "Bowie. Gorgeous... so like her Dad."

"Beautiful being just like you and David. <3. Happy birthday Lexi!" another admirer commented.

"Wow. You can see so much of David in Lexi. This is the first picture I've seen of her in several years. She is growing into a radiant and lovely young woman," someone else wrote, echoing what most of Iman's social media followers had to say.

A heartfelt birthday message in honour of Lexi's 17th birthday was posted on her late father's Instagram account as well.

"HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY TO LEXI 'You're only seventeen...' We're sure you will all want to join us in wishing many happy returns of the day to Alexandria Zahra Jones on her 17th birthday," the message read.

While Lexi is Bowie and Iman's only biological child, the 62-year-old model is also the step mother of Duncan Jones, the singer's son from a previous relationship.

The couple was together until Bowie died in January 2016 after losing his battle with cancer.
