David and Victoria Beckham would love to add 'fifth child' to their family
Football legend David Beckham and wife Victoria would reportedly love to have another baby. The 41-year-old singer-turned-fashion designer and the 40-year-old former England captain, have four children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper Seven, together.
The couple were recently haunted by reports that they are heading for a divorce. A source told The Mirror: "New York Fashion Week is a huge event for Victoria, David wouldn't miss it for the world."
"He always attends her shows whenever he possibly can, and is at most of them, but this is the big one. She's very excited, and he's obviously excited for her. Any suggestion their marriage is in trouble is nonsense," the insider added.
"The idea they're spending a lot of time apart is rubbish too. Far from drifting apart they wouldn't rule out adding to their family with a fifth child," the source continued.
During an interview with Grazia, Victoria said their marriage is stronger than ever. She told the publication: "I have never listened to, or commented on, the rumours about any aspect of my life. I am blessed to have a wonderful husband and beautiful, healthy, happy children. Yes, we travel a lot with our respective businesses and charitable commitments, but we always make time for each other as a couple and as a family. David and I have nothing to prove. We love each other, look out for each other and are strong as both partners and parents."
David is really close to his children and is constantly seen around them. In 2011, the former Real Madrid star said, "In my career there's many things I've won, and many things I've achieved," and added, "...my greatest achievement is my family."
"What matters is being a good father and a good husband – just being connected to family as much as possible. Being a dad is more important than football, more important than anything. I adore children. I love the fact our children are part of both of us. It's one of the most amazing things ever," he added.
