E3 2015: New Mirror's Edge Catalyst trailer released with February release date
EA showed off a new trailer for Mirror's Edge Catalyst at their E3 press event, confirming it will be released on 23 February 2016. The CG trailer was rendered in-engine and offers a hint at the game's story, which will tell heroine Faith's origins.
The game's senior producer Sara Janssen was on stage to also give us a brief glimpse at gameplay and reveal that the game will be open world with no levels or loading screens. "Personal freedom comes at a price" is the underlying theme being touted for Catalyst.

DICE also revealed that Faith "doesn't need guns" hinting that they've dropped gunplay from the follow-up to the 2008 cult classic - a move sure to please fans worried the new game would contain more guns.
