Ealing murder: Man arrested after woman in 40s killed at home in west London
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman in her 40s was killed at a home in Ealing. Police were called to Eaton Rise at approximately 4.20pm on Wednesday (2 December) after concerns were raised over the welfare of a woman at a property.
Officers attended the scene and found the body of woman but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been made aware but a formal identification has not yet taken place.
A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course. A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody. The Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command under the supervision of Detective Inspector Dave Reid is investigating the murder and anyone with information should call the incident room number on 0208 721 4054.
