Is Ed Sheeran married? Singer fuels wedding rumours with Instagram photo of silver ring

Instagram followers of Ed Sheeran believe that the singer has secretly tied the knot with his high-school girlfriend Cherry Seaborn. The speculations surrounding the Thinking Out Aloud singer's wedding started when his friend shared a candid photo featuring himself, his daughter, and Sheeran. In the photo, the 25-year-old singer is seen wearing a silver band on his ring finger.

Sheeran's friend, musician Jovel, shared the picture on the popular picture-sharing site with the caption, "My baby girls 5th birthday party was lit! Even both godparents were in attendance finally lol." The English singer was casually dressed in the picture that featured the trio in the outdoors. Sheeran was sporting a long-sleeved Tee shirt with beige shorts, a cap, and his signature grin.

However, more than the casual attire, it was Sheeran's shining band on the ring finger that caught attention of the fans on the social media. Rumour mills were soon abuzz with wedding speculations, while others suggested that it was just a hoax, which the singer craftily suggested with his graphic tee. Sheeran's fans on Twitter even hunted a photo of the singer wearing "the same" ring on a different finger during his visit to Japan.

While, the Photograph hitmaker hasn't officially announced anything about his wedding, he was photographed indulging in some serious PDA in the recent past. In a picture posted by Taylor Swift during the 4 July weekend, Sheeran was caught kissing his love interest in the background, as Swift posed with his long-time friend Abigail Anderson.

The Blank Space songstress cheekily captioned the photo as, "'Love actually is all around.' Congratulations guys @abigail_lauren @teddysphotos"

Sheeran and Seaborn have been in a relationship since last year according to a report by People magazine, and the couple allegedly made their public debut in New York City last year. The gossip magazine's report also claimed to have spotted the two with Swift's former boyfriend Calvin Harris in Las Vegas. However, despite their public life, the duo has managed to keep their relationship low key.
