Eliza Taylor teases an intense 100 season 4 finale: What next in store for Clarke, Bellamy?
'I think fans are going to love the ending' says the actress on The 100 season 4 final episode.
The 100 season 4 is on a hiatus with the previous episode titled, God Complex, leaving our beloved characters in a relatively comfortable place with hopes of surviving the nuclear apocalypse.
Clarke took the Nightblood serum, and Jaha found the Second Dawn bunker, which could be humanity's hope of surviving the radiation wave ahead. However, with the death wave threatening to wipe out humanity just six days away, tensions will continue to rise until The 100 season 4 finale episode that airs on 24 May.
Eliza Taylor, who plays Clarke Griffin, spoke to TV Guide about the finale episode and teased, "It gets intense, man." Clarke will once again face impossible choices with the approaching apocalypse and the limited space the Second Dawn bunker provides.
Teasing what lies ahead for Clarke, Taylor said, "I think it's fair to say that Clarke isn't going to balance things as well as she has in the past because the stakes are just that high. Just when you thought our show couldn't get any more intense, it's the end of the world again. I think people will be interested to see how she's kind of losing it, but determined to push through."
Unlike previous seasons, this time Clarke is not alone, and she will be leaning heavily on her friends, Bellamy, Raven, etc. The 27-year-old said, "I think, in general, Clarke is leaning on her friends more this season, which is great because last season she just ran away and got weird in the woods by herself and didn't want anyone's help. So I think she's leaning a lot more on her mother [Paige Turco], on Bellamy [Bob Morley], on Raven [Lindsey Morgan] and even Murphy [Richard Harmon]."
The finale will be different for Clarke, according to the actress. "It's going to be really different for Clarke in unspeakable ways. I think fans are going to love the ending. This has been my favourite ending to a season yet. It's really cool."
The 100 season 4 will return on 26 April at 9pm EST, wherein Bellamy will go on a quest with Jasper. The official synopsis for episode 9 titled, DNR, reads as follows:
Jasper and Bellamy go on a quest. Meanwhile, Clarke struggles to keep the peace after word of Jaha's discovery spreads.
