EU referendum: Heavy rain and flooding cause travel chaos in London and south-east

Downpours and flooding have swamped parts of London and the south-east. London Fire Brigade received hundreds of calls of weather-related incidents, including some reports of flooding and lightning strikes. There were delays and cancellations across the Tube network as Transport for London grappled to bring floodwaters under control.
