Eva Mendes Covers Lucky Magazine: Actress Refuse To Discuss Ryan Gosling Relationship

American actress/model Eva Mendes is the latest star to grace the cover of Lucky magazine's October issue.

In the accompanying interview, the 39-year-old actress continues to remain tight-lipped about her relationship with Canadian actor Ryan Gosling.

"You can ask about my boyfriend. I just won't answer." she said, adding, "The way my mother keeps track of me is looking me up. I say, 'Please, Mother, don't Google me!'"

However, she talked on her weight and body image and revealed she is ready to experiment on herself for a role.

"I'll do anything for a role. For A Place Beyond the Pines, I exercised a lot," she said, "I wanted my character to feel really depleted. My mom didn't understand why I would want to look that way. She's constantly telling me I'm too skinny!"

Mendes who made her Hollywood debut in 1998 film Children of the Corn V, also had her share of hardships.

"You do six auditions a day, you're changing in your car, you're living off the coins in your change drawer and having Taco Bell for breakfast, lunch and dinner," she recalled.

She also feels dressing up well boosts her confidence.

"Of course, to feel beautiful, you have to have healthy self-esteem and work on yourself, and that can be hard. And there are days when I don't feel great, but I put on my favorite dress and throw a scarf in my hair, and it makes all the difference. Hopefully my line can do that for women. Even if you're not feeling your best, let's admit it, the right outfit–it helps." she added.

The magazine hits newsstands on 10 September.
