F-16 Fighter Jet Narrowly Avoids Crowds at RAF Waddington International Air Show
Dramatic footage has emerged of the moment a low-flying fighter jet narrowly missed a crowd of spectators during an air show in Lincolnshire.
The Turkish F-16 jet was captured coming into land at the RAF Waddington International Air Show. However, as the aircraft was making its approach, onlookers were sent running to cover as it flew a matter of feet above their heads.
As well as the gasps and cries from the crowds, one man can be heard saying: "He was bit close, wasn't he!"
The film was shot at the annual show air show at an RAF base near Lincoln. More than 150,000 were in attendance at this year's event, which also saw performances from the Red Arrows.
All proceeds from the two-day event go to the RAF and other local charities.
The Lincolnshire air show footage emerged as a second video showing a Boeing 747 narrowly avoiding hitting another plane at Barcelona Airport was also captured.
