Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them featurette reveals magical world of 1920s America
Fans of wizardry are eagerly waiting to watch the Harry Potter spinoff movie Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, which will premiere in November. However, Warner Bros has released a new featurette revealing the behind-the-scenes footage of the all-new wizarding adventure, written by celebrated novelist and Harry Potter author JK Rowling.
The video features the lead star of the movie, Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne, who talks about his experience of playing magizoologist Newt Scamander. "It's just unlike anything I've ever been a part of," the 34-year-old English actor said to the camera. "It's like imagination taken to the extreme."
The three-minute clip reveals snippets from the British-American fantasy adventure film, which revolves around Newt as he arrives in the US for the Magical Congress with his briefcase containing magical creatures and their habitats. But things turn adventurous when the briefcase opens and the fantastic beasts escape and threaten the relationship between the wizards and the no-majs (American for Muggle).
Rowling has written the script for the movie that is set in New York City of the 1920s. Apart from Redmayne, the movie also stars Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Ron Perlman, Carmen Ejogo, Jenn Murray, Faith Wood-Blagrove and Colin Farrell. The movie is directed by David Yates.
In December 2015, Warner Bros released the teaser trailer of the highly anticipated movie. Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is scheduled to premiere worldwide on 18 November. The movie will release in 2D and 3D in select theatres and IMAX.
