Faryal Makhdoom and Amir Khan's £1.6m Bolton mansion taken off market as couple reunite
The six-bed detached mansion in Bolton went up for sale amid a bitter split when Khan accused Makhdoom of cheating
They say home is where the heart is so it looks like newly-reunited Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom plan to stay put in theirs.
According to the Sun, the British boxer has taken his £1.6m marital mansion off the market after deciding to give his marriage to the pregnant 26-year-old American-Pakistani model another go.
The luxurious glass-fronted 3,500 square foot property comes with modern granite kitchen, six bedrooms and a separate four bedroom, four bathroom bungalow.
Fans may recall that the property, which boasts an indoor swimming and home gym was put up for sale in June amid a family feud.
Makhdoom had accused her in-laws of years of mental and physical bullying and his family accused her of being a gold digger.
In August their the couple became embroiled in a bitter public row after Khan sensationally claimed his partner had enjoyed a secret rendezvous with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua.
At this point, he hinted that he was keen to get the property off his hands sooner rather than later by slashing £200,000 off the asking price. The house was again reduced by another £200,000 before it was withdrawn from sale in late October.
On 10 November the sportsman – who is preparing to enter the I'm A Celeb jungle – shared a snap of him cuddled up on the sofa with his wife wearing loungewear, confirming that they had reconciled. The caption read: "With my 4 month pregnant wife, after sorting out all the issues. Closing the year with a happy ending @faryalmakhdoom."
He appears to have done a 180 having previously left Makhdoom "humiliated" by insisting that they were still getting a divorce.
"Thanks to Faryal for clearing up the accusations she had made about my family in the past which were false," he said at the time.
He added: "Unfortunately it didn't work out between Me and Faryal and we are still going ahead with the divorce. We are in good talking terms. We have to think about our daughter Lamaisah who I will always be there for. I wish Faryal all the very best for the future."
Makhdoom hit back by vowing to move back to New York with their daughter if he filed for divorce.
