Fetcham Double Murder: Lithuanian Builder Detained Over Patrick and Gillian Kettyle Stabbing
A Lithuanian builder has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing a couple to death in their home in Fetcham, Surrey.
Viktoras Bruzas, 38, was detained by police shortly before 1800 last night, (28 November) over the double killing of Patrick and Gillian Kettyle.
Police stopped the builder as he drove through Oxshott, in Surrey, after a mass search involving Interpol and the National Crime Agency. The suspect had known by the couple.
The Kettyles were believed to have been found by one of their teenage children at 1230 GMT, yesterday.
A knife was later discovered 500 yards from the The Copse road property.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Preston, of the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team, said : "This is a a tragic incident which has shaken the close community in Fetcham.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who assisted with the search of Viktoras Bruzas," he said.
Another man in his thirties was arrested in Walton-on-Thames and has been bailed pending further inquiries.
