Firefighters Tackle London Warehouse Blaze at Hackney Wick
Thirty five firefighters are currently tackling a fire at a warehouse in Hackney Wick, east London.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) were called out following reports of a fire in Monier Road at around 8.10am on 20 October.
Laurie Kenny, station manager, who is at the scene, said: "When crews arrived they were confronted by a sizeable fire and we now have over 30 firefighters at the scene working hard to bring the blaze under control."
The building is on an industrial estate and there are no houses nearby and no one is involved in the fire.
Fire crews from Homerton, Bethnal Green, Poplar and Whitechapel fire stations are attending the incident.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
