French authorities have published video instructions on 18 February, on how to react in the event of an attack similar to the 13 November attacks in Paris which killed 130, and injured hundreds more. The video is a simple step-by-step guide giving advice on the dos and don'ts in case of an armed attack and was published on social media.

The video recommends escape as the first reaction, helping others to do so and warning others about the danger. A second part gives advice on how to protect oneself if trapped in a danger zone. The guide advises how to alert police and behave when encountering police forces at the scene of an assault. The video finally ends with practical instructions on how to help victims with first aid emergency techniques. The video follows a leaflet published last December giving similar advice.
