Game of Thrones season 5: Actor Kit Harington reveals the fate of Jon Snow in new season?
Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on the popular HBO series, has hinted that he will have a major storyline in the upcoming Season 5. If that's indeed the case, fans of the actor can rest easy considering that killing off major characters is a speciality of this show.
The British actor revealed he was on set more than any other cast member during filming in Belfast, suggesting Jon Snow could be at the centre of a pivotal plotline.
Speaking to The Independent Magazine, he said he was "on set every day in Belfast. And I had more dates than anyone this year – I was f*cking there."
The last season ended with Snow assuming a more central role after the epic Battle of Castle Black. It remains to be seen how things now unfold for this (one of the few!) remaining member of the Stark house.
Harington also said he "can't be Jon Snow forever" and would like to get involved in producing.
"I want to move into producing. I've kind of set my cogs going on that. It's one of those things: before whenever it is that I finish Thrones, I need to really process what I want to do next. And eventually it may not be acting. I love it, but I need to make sure that's what I want to do," he said.
The "workaholic" actor is feeling a void now that filming for GoT is over, and is already looking for his next big project.
"Even now, having finished [filming] Thrones, and having a whole day off, I just can't deal with it. I need to work."
