Game of Thrones star Kit Harington teases epic battle scenes in Season 5, wants to play Batman next
Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on the show, wants to play Batman on TV next. The actor, who was nominated at the 2015 SAG Awards, is already eyeing his next big job where he wants to play the caped crusader.
"I think I got put on the spot and [they asked], 'Do you want to play a superhero' and of course I want to play a superhero," Harington told E! News during Live From the Red Carpet. "I don't know. I'd love to play Batman. As a matter of fact, camp him up, maybe without the spandex."
Maybe Harington wants to bring back the retro Batman which actor Adam West made famous in the late 60s.
"I just miss the speech bubbles," he explained. "I think they should do it as a TV show. That's my theory. Yeah, I'd put my neck out there. I'd do it."
While that remains on his wish list, it appears that the actor's current show Game of Thrones is getting more lavish in terms of its budget for the upcoming Season 5.
"We hear on-set in previous years that we can't afford that and they say no, but this year we ask, 'Can we afford that' and the answer is 'Yeah,'" he shared. "They're throwing money at it. We're in season five and we're coming towards the real peak of the story."
"There's some huge action and battle sequences that won't leave audiences wanting more," the actor added.
